Grants to increase the number of Massachusetts students in programs supporting careers in math, science, technology, and engineering; to increase the number of qualified STEM teachers in the Commonwealth; and to improve the STEM educational offerings available in public and private schools.
(Created under the 2003 Economic Stimulus Bill, c.141 of the Acts of 2003, s.13.  Re-funded under the 2006 Economic Stimulus Bill, c. 123 of the Acts of 2006, s. 30 and 98. Re-funded under the Fiscal Year 2008 state budget, c. 61 of the Acts of 2007, s. 62.)
